Since 1997, Nolan North has been acting and voicing in more roles than should be humanly possible. More popularly known for his roles in the Assassin’s Creed series (as Desmond Miles), in the Uncharted series (as Nathan Drake), and in the newly rebooted edition of the Prince of Persia (as the Prince). North has also been in Halo Wars (as Sgt. Forge), Madworld (as Master Father), and Halo 3: ODST (as Romeo).
While known better for his major and secondary roles, he’s also had roles as extras in games like Dragon Age: Origins, Metal Gear Solid 4, Lost Odyssey and a number of others. He will also be voicing a character in the up and coming (if it ever gets released) Alpha Protocol.
Before and during his voice acting career, North was involved in several roles in soap operas and dramas like NCIS, CSI:Miami, General Hospital, and Modern Family.
In 2009, Giant Bomb introduced a category to their end of the year awards called the “Northies”. This award is given to Nolan North’s best performance of the year and his first win was for his role as Nathan Drake in Uncharted 2.
