Kratos is one badass looking mofo. I've always admired the way he was drawn because just looking at him you know he is that the kind of guy you don't want to come across in a dark alley. Everything about him screams "I will destroy you!"

Well, that was until I noticed something today. He looks an awful lot like the barbarian from Diablo 2. Besides the obvious fact that they are both very muscular they also wear fustanellas (that man skirt) that drapes longer on the same side. But an even more startling similarity that can't be chalked up to mere coincidence is that they both have the same face and body paint -- aleit different colors. It wraps around their arm, travels up their back, comes over the top of their bald head, and finally runs down their face and over one of their eyes.

Is this all a purposeful homage by the God of War creators? Or is something more sinister afoot?

I'm just kidding about the sinister part but I am curious to know if anyone has any information about this.
