Mass Effect 2 has bugs? I thought the game was about aliens! (Rimshot)

News Blips:

Chris Priestly, a quality-assurance staffer at BioWare, addresses a few of the bugs in Mass Effect 2. He says that some of the known issues include general Cerberus (in-game DLC service) connection problems, item-redemption codes that don’t work, and unremovable helmets. Supposedly, BioWare’s hard at work fixing things, but the helmet bug is a low priority. You didn't know that Mass Effect 2 is a futuristic version of Man in the Iron Mask?! [Social.BioWare]

Hacker George Hotz, who gained notoriety for his help hacking the iPhone, now claims that he has successfully hacked the PlayStation 3. The exploit is available on his website as Hotz hopes that it will "ignite the PS3 scene" and that the hacking community will "figure out how to use this to do practical things." What kind of "practical things" would you want to do with a hacked PS3? [@geohot]

Ubisoft's new antipiracy policy requires Internet access for PC games. On the plus side, the majority of future PC Ubisoft games won’t need the disc to run, may be installed to an unlimited number of machines, and will load save files from the player’s online Ubi.com account. The downside: Obviously, without Internet access for authentication, you can’t play the games. Alright, engineers, make wireless Internet available everywhere in the world. [Gamespy]

After 3 years, Sega’s shutting down the Phantasy Star: Universe PC and PS2 servers. Users who have a subscription as of January 29 will be eligible for free play (during the MAG+ event) until the servers close on March 31. The closure doesn’t affect Xbox 360 PSU subscribers, and Sega promises full continued support and additional unreleased content. Do any of you Bitmobbers still go rappy hunting online? Spread the word! Bitmob censors people! I made a comment on the Facebook article above, with absolutely no profanity or vulgarity or hate speech and they deleted my post. I simply mentioned that Facebook is used as a database for law enforcement and that Obama is a fraud and they deleted me. I'm done with this site. I'll be coming back though to warn others of your antics.

Wow, one of my heroes from EGM actually responded to something I said. Damn. I feel special. I posted that in a bit of a rant mode, but yeah, that wasn't cool at all how someone deleted a harmless post. You'd think I was a terrorist or something. Anyhow, you guys need to take a chill pill. If you never deleted the post maybe I wouldn't have spoken out. But blah blah blah, I'm out of here. Later man. No reply needed.

Maybe your comment was deleted for being horribly off topic?

Yeah I agree with Mike. Go spread your propaganda elsewhere. Maybe start a blog? There's a novel idea.
