Bayonetta really bombed hard.

@Juan Did Bayonetta really bomb, or are expectations for this game too high?

Looks like Bayonetta was a flop in North America, but sold a million in Japan.

Where do you even get NPD data? The site is a clusterfuck to navigate.

@Jason our definition of "bombed" may be different, but for a critically well received game sell less than Army of Two and Darksiders, it seems that it did poorly for me. Dante will outsale Bayonetta, will that equal a bomb to you? Not sure, but I'll bet a steak burrito that Dante outsells his peer.

You gotta love Mario Kart Wii. The game is nearly two years old, doesn't bundle with a Wiimote, doesn't stress fitness, and yet still cracks the top ten in NPD's every single month. That game has some serious legs.

I really wanted Darksiders to do better, but I can't say I'm surprised. I wonder how Vigil and THQ feel about those numbers, and how it compares to their expectations.
