Puzzler: Name the forgotten video-game heroes (part 2)

Saturday, March 24, 2012

Not every video-game hero enjoys the massive success of Mega Man or Commander Shepard. Lesser known heroes fade into obscurity and eventually disappear from our minds...or do they? Stare at the following images, and try to name as many obliterated stars as possible as well as the games they're from.

I still believe Plok is one of the worst games I've ever heard. Like, it made me appreciate other game soundtracks and scores because of it's annoying sound.

Think of a cat running across, only the high notes, of a pipe organ. That's Plok's score. Yuck.

5/10

You scraped the bottom of the barrel so hard for this one that I can taste wood chips.

I did. It was not an enjoyable experience. And I found many more for part 3....

0 out of 10. I missed them all, but I think #2 is pretty cute.

Number 2 is basically the only non-Final Fantasy VII character I remember from that bizarre, pseudo-fighting game.

Oh gosh. For a second, I thought she was part of that shooter, Einhander. Both of the titles start with E.

Augh. I'm sad. I would have played Ehrgeiz if it was actually good. Like Dissidia. I need more badass Asian police girls in my life.

What is she holding, anyway?

It's a yo yo. And Ergheiz was awesome, this article reminded me that I need to find a copy. It had this really great rpg mode where you leveled yourself up and learned about the main food groups at the same time.

Doesn't matter, Plok was in this. And that made my day.

I have never, ever played Iggy's wrecking balls but man, that lizard's face is so familiar. Hauntingly familiar. And Brute Force and Bloody Roar?? Aaaugh  *fits of nostalgia*
