Well, I am not ready to review yet but that has been my favorite experience with a Halo game yet.

While I do have a few grips, mainly that there are too many times where you are re-treading paths you have already walked, I have found the sense of loneliness the game evokes just heightens the moments where the crapola hits the fan.

I really like the graphical bump and even greater emphasis on storytelling.

I also see myself spending hours on Firefight.

What's usually the window for the featured reviews? I ordered ODST from Amazon and will likely play the hell out of it as soon as I get it, but that still won't be for a couple days.

Not a Gold Member, but I plan to review the single player aspect.

I'll be one of the few I'm sure but after Call of Duty 4 and even the lackluster 5, Halo seems like a joke to me. I've played this one for 24 hours. I actually like the "not as skilled" feel of the ODST, but nothing so far makes me think I'll be playing this one more than 5 minutes after Modern Warfare 2 comes out...

Give me a few hours, I've finished it, but I want to go back and take notes about a few key things. I'll likely have it finished by 1pm Pacific time.

Life came up. Will finish and submit by tomorrow.

The story mode is great. Love the flashbacks. I have to say that if you bought Halo 3 and downloaded the packs not as great a deal. I've been happy and it pulled me away from Gears and Tiger Woods 10 (wii) for now.

Why don't they sell just the on-line multiplayer disc. $29 ?
