Modern Warfare 2 is a game of unquestionable quality. Unfortunately, no amount of plot twists or visual flare will stave off the eventual boredom associated with playing old maps. You can't deny it -- levels like Wasteland and Afghan are beginning to show their age.
Luckily, Infinity Ward has anticipated our sense of fatigue and intends to stimulate our interest with a new map pack, appropriately entitled the Stimulus Pack. If you haven't read about it before, be sure to check out our in-depth coverage of the downloadable content, which was released earlier today.
In celebration of the timely DLC, the Bitmob staff is hosting yet another Modern Warfare 2 Game Night...and offering up a couple of freebies.
This Friday, rub shoulders with Dan "Shoe" Hsu, Brett Bates, Rich McGrath, and a host of Bitmob community members as they embark on Infinity Ward's newly inaugurated maps. The bloodshed is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. PST (that's 8:00 p.m. for us East Coasters).
But hold the phone, the news gets better! Bitmob is giving away two codes which will provide free access to the Stimulus Package.
Craving for the chance to noob-tube one of the editors on a new map? Hit the jump to see the contest rules, and you may get that opportunity.
To play with us, just befriend "Bitmob Shoe" on Xbox Live and join his party/game at 5:00 p.m. PST this Friday, April 2.
