You thought Dead or Alive had a nice physics engine? Pshh. Batman: Arkham Asylum -- now that's a physics engine.

Video Blips:

• Apparently a lot of effort was put into the physics engine in Arkham Asylum. We think it almost looks more realistic than regular Newtonian physics. [GameTrailers]

Continue after the break for a Guitar Hero 5 skydiving ad, Mini Ninjas but no minipirates, and a minidocumentary on the spooky Dead Space: Extraction.

• We don't get the logic behind having people jump out of an airplane to promote Guitar Hero 5. Looks like someone's advertisting budget is a little too steep for their own good these days. [GameVideos]

• Maybe the people who made Mini Ninjas are big fans of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Those cartoonish explosions look awfully familiar. [GameTrailers]

• Dead Space: Extraction looks to be one of the few M-rated Wii games in recent memory. That is, until we get our hands on Wii Sports: Red Light District. [GameVideos]

Dead Space: Extraction looks pretty fine for a Gamcube, er, Wii game!
