Does anyone else hope that X-Men, the 6-player, side-scrolling, beat-'em-up arcade game from Konami ends up in Game Room?

Video Blips:

• If Game Room is your first exposure to an arcade, consider that real life arcades actually had video game mascots running around. If an arcade wasn't fortunate enough to have video game mascots, they instead had super models. [GameTrailers]

Continue after the break for a predictable Bayonetta trailer, Suda51 observing "Hammertime" in Just Dance, and a sweet four-player co-op boss battle in Lost Planet 2

• This Bayonetta launch trailer has pretty much everything you'd expect from the game: action, gunplay, sex-appeal, and the occult. Sounds like the ingredients for a pretty good time. [GameTrailers]

• Did you ever imagine, that today, you'd see a video with No More Heroes director Suda51 dancing to MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This?" Neither did I. [GameVideos]

• Check out the smiley-face-crosshair (0:39) in this Lost Planet 2 co-op boss battle video. Perhaps it's a reminder that when you blow up giant space aliens, you should alway do it with a smile. [GameVideos]

Massive respect to the marketers of Bayonetta for using the "In For the Kill" remix in that advertisement. It's a great song, and they put it to good use. The Youtube video with Skream's remix has blown up in the past few days with people saying they discovered the song through the ad.

Always good to hear when quality music propagates with the help of video games.
