In terms of energy and enthusiasm, Gears of War 3 Producer Rod Ferguson is at an 11 when hyping up the game. I went from a 2 to an 8 after watching this interview, so now I'm pumped up, and I don't know what to do.
Video Blips:
• Perhaps you're wondering why the Coalition of Ordered Governments (COG) and the Locust don't team up in Gears of War 3 to fight their newfound common enemy. The obvious answer is this is Gears of War, not Gears of Diplomacy, silly. [GameTrailers]
Continue after the break for a Medal of Honor trailer featuring the latest single from rock band Linkin Park, a preview of the new Alan Wake downloadable content, the Signal, and the trailer for the cutesy Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet.
• Normally, I cringe when I hear Linkin Park's music in trailers for shooters (like Medal of Honor), but this time it isn't that bad. In a sense, I'm actually a bit disappointed at this video's relatively tame levels of screaming, distorted guitars, and explosions. [GameVideos]
• I kind of feel bad for Alan Wake in this DLC, as a signal calls out to him to go solve this mystery. If Alan were the procrastinating type, I just imagine the signal growing frustrated and continuing to nag him until he got to it. [GameTrailers]
• When I was a kid, reading Marvel's The Infinity Gauntlet series made me feel cool and older. Now, as an adult, revisiting the story through the lens of the Marvel Super Hero Squad makes me feel a little childish...but not in a nostalgic way. I'm left a bit conflicted. [Joystiq]
