Video Blips: Killzone 3 story, Beyond Good and Evil HD, Mega Man Legends 3 Project, and more

Killzone 3's story is so melodramatic. If I didn't know any better, I would think that Sony is releasing this installment as a prime-time TV show.

Video Blips:

• In Killzone 3 you play as a group of rebels fighting against a giant, technologically sophisticated army sometime in the future. How come we never get to play the oppressor squelching dissent in these types of games?

Continue after the break for a teaser for Beyond Good and Evil HD, an overview of the Mega Man Legends 3 Project, and a look at Fight Night: Champion.

• What would you say if I told you that I'm excited to play Beyond Good and Evil HD, even though the original currently sits in my PlayStation 2 pile of shame? You know, on second thought, don't judge me.

• As part of the Mega Man Legends 3 Project, the developers are lettings fans play a central role in designing various parts of the game. I'd troll them and make all kinds of absurd boss suggestions, but knowing the Mega Man series, no boss is too absurd.

• Let me take a stab at how the story mode in Fight Night: Champion plays out: You start as a boxing prisoner, do your time, and one day you make it to the big leagues with a shot at the title. Then, once you're the champ, you beat someone up and end up back in the slammer for aggravated assault and battery.

@Alejandro "How come we never get to play the oppressor squelching dissent in these types of games?" Sounds like a good premise for a shooter to me!

I know, right? Actually, I read this article (http://www.gamesradar.com/f/why-youre-actually-playing-as-the-bad-guys-in-gears-of-war/a-20080904103347781089) that argues that in Gears of War we actually do play as the oppressor.
