Weekend Recap: Bears maul Kinectimals, Red Faction in a coma, and more

In this edition of Weekend Recap, EA games keep mysteriously vanishing from Steam, dicktits underperform, and the creator of Mega Man plays with eggs.

Microsoft will add bear cubs to Kinectimals and call it…Kinectimals Now With Bears. Genius! You can purchase the DLC add-on for 1200 Microsoft Points or the retail disc for $49.99.

THQ is putting the Red Faction franchise to sleep after disappointing sales of Red Faction: Armageddon. The only thing I’ll miss is the Ostrich Hammer.

EA’s Dragon Age 2 has disappeared from Valve’s digital distribution service. First it was Crysis 2, and now it's DA2. Will Battlefield 3 also skip Steam?

Bulletstorm is a fun first-person shooter, but it didn’t make any real money for developer Epic Games. The game got positive reviews from critics, and I really hope a sequel is in the works.

Former Capcom Producer Keiji Inafune, the man responsible for Mega Man, Dead Rising, and Onimusha, is working on a social game for iOS and Android platforms called The Island of Dr. Momo. The title’s objective is to create the cutest animal ever by combining different creatures. Hmm…yeah!

That first pic is hilarious. Evil Tediz FTW!

Those bears from the picture are naughty, but my favorite evil teddies are the Tediz from Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Make Naughty Bears the real DLC for Kinectimals please.  Also, if Bulletstorm has your approval, as well as critical acclaim, then perhaps I will give it a try when it hits the cheap seats for affordability

On another note, let's hope PITA gets a hold of that article image header in order to up those views!

I love PITA bread!

Bulletstorm kept me entertained from start to finish, then I went back for more achievements. The PC version is just $14.99 on GameStop.com.

Wow, I love that first picture. If they actually incorporated Naughty Bear into Kinectimals, it could make both games a lot more popular ;)

It'd be cool to have Naughty Bear guest star in the next Cooking Mama game, just to see what he'd serve for dinner.
