In this edition of Weekend Recap, murderous ninjas make WB Interactive very happy, European Wiis lose some fat, and robots fall in love.

Look at your game character, now back to me
EA has been pulling their games from Steam, and Valve’s co-founder Gabe Newell said that while there’s “a whole complicated set of issues,” the two companies can work out their problems and continue doing business together. Only time will tell.

Binary Domain, Sega’s squad-based shooter from Yakuza director Toshihiro Nagoshi, will hit the PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 14, 2012. Nothing warms the heart more than a robot apocalypse.

To celebrate the Wii’s fifth birthday, Nintendo of Europe will release a streamlined console bundle packed with a Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuck, Wii Sports, and Wii Party. The redesigned Wii lacks backward-compatibility support for GameCube games. Major bummer! To please hardcore fans, I suggest creating new hardware that plays every Nintendo game ever made, and call it Super Wii Cube 64 Advance.

Purchasing Midway (now known as NetherRealm Studios) has certainly paid off for Warner Bros. Interactive. The ninth installment of Mortal Kombat has sold nearly three million copies worldwide. Haven’t played this bloody fighting game yet? Go buy a copy! Operators are standing by to take your order.

Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be released on November 20, just in time for Thanksgiving. With other popular games like Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, and Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 launching on the same month, does Link have what it takes to make us dust off our Wiis?

Man, I wish that Link could do that. He'd look badass, like Ryu Hayabusa.

Super Wii Cube has a perfect design.... But... uh...  Does it come with that creepy face in the background?  I mean, if I have to, just to get my hands on that console, that face can do whatever it darn well pleases.

That's no ordinary creepy face. The Regginator does whatever he damn well pleases regardless of your approval. He is always watching....
