What if Angry Birds were a Game & Watch game?

It's so strange realizing that the game this decade will likely be most remembered for is Angry Birds. The 2010s will go down in history as the time when mobile titles reigned supreme -- or at least encouraged people to buy branded toys, T-shirts, and candy.

Seriously, you can buy Angry Birds gummy snacks....

But what if Angry Birds started in the '80s? We might find this overwhelming marketing campaign a little easier to swallow if the game were older. To illustrate the thought, Italian artist Giorgio Cantù created this amazing Game & Watch image.

Those Angry Birds gummy snacks: You don't want to try them...trust me.

I do enjoy a good gummy snack, but if they're based on anything, that anything best be Scooby Doo.

I tripped over one of the giant Angry Birds Gummies displays and vowed to never eat them.

I wouldn't mind if it were a Game & Watch trinket. I'd have less trouble hitting the sweet spot to kill all the pigs. Lol.

I think it's too early to think that Angry Birds would be the most remembered game of the decade, but I wouldn't mind if it did.

Even Miyamoto expressed his good impressions on the game: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/116770-Miyamoto-I-Wish-I-Made-Angry-Birds
