Fortune Street on Wii, which is a continuation of a long-running Japanese Monopoly-esque virtual board game, introduced the most amazing minigame of all time: Dragon Quest slime racing.

The idea in the game is to bet on which of the various slimes is the fastest, much like horse racing. But, in typical Nintendo style, success is so randomized that a leading slime might end up in last place thanks to a well-placed pitfall.

Nevertheless, slime racing is an adorable sport, and soon you can purchase a real-world board game recreating it. Japanese hobby website Amiami is currently taking preorders for the game and I can't stress enough how precious it looks. Actually, it looks like Amiami has run out of preorders since I started writing this post.

Hopefully more preorders will become available soon.
