We've got one (1) download code for Axel & Pixel, which we're giving away to a lucky commentator. This is an 800 Microsoft Spacebuck item!

Axel & Pixel, in case you didn't know, is an Xbox Live Arcade point-and-click adventure game starring an artist (Axel) and his dog (guess!), who must traverse a surreal, photo-collage environment. And also race stuff.

To recap, comment below with your real name (make sure you registered with a valid e-mail address, so we can contact you) and we'll pick/announce a winner on Monday, October 19th!

I have been on a point and click craze lately. From Sam and Max, to Monkey Island, to The Dig, to hopelessly trying to get Scummvm to make my copy of Full Throttle and 7th Guest to work... I have the demo for this game downloaded, but haven't tried it yet.

There I was, walking with my pup along some treacherous ass cliff when I came upon this funky contraption. That thing looked like some sort of makeshift catapult, if was a tree bent over and tied to a boulder and on the tree was what appeared to be a metal trash can. The catapult was aimed towards another cliff on the other side of the gully and I couldn't resist. I went to step in the trash can but realized that would be moronic, why would I want to put myself in danger? "C'mere boy!" After shoving my dog into the trash can, with much resistance, he reluctantly sat still, staring at me as if he did something wrong. "Good boy! When you get to the other side, look for a way to help me across." I backed up a bit and wondered what it was I was about to do and quickly shook off the notion of danger for my trusty pup. With a flash, I yanked out my pocket-knife and started sawing at the rope. My dog started to bark at me as if pleading for me to stop, but I needed to see this work. SNAP!! The line to the boulder fell dead and in slow motion I watched as the tongue from my best-friend started to extend from his mouth due to the sudden jerk. The tree sprung forward slinging the trash can and mut flying towards the other cliff. I gritted my teeth in anticipation as the dog-can soared through the air.
