Or
Best Xbox 360 Action/Adventure: Alan Wake (I Assume)

Alan Wake

I can't remember why I was so drawn to Alan Wake when it was announced and I read the Game Informer preview on it, but I remember thinking, "Oh shit, I need to buy a 360 for this." Well, that was a good five years ago, and I've almost entirely forgotten why it sounded so awesome.

But in the wake (pun intended) of that, a wave of overwhelming praise has taken it's place. I'm not well-versed in the survival horror area, but I loved Resident Evil 4 to death, and it sort of reminds me of Alan Wake, I guess.

I've heard a lot about the game from podcasts, and the story interests me. I enjoy games that set their stories in a real-world setting, and then start to skew it to add game elements. At least, what few games I've played that did that, as they don't seem to be very common.

Yes, Alan Wake is the best Action/Adventure game on the Xbox 360. At least, I assume it is. You see, I don't actually own an Xbox 360, which is why I'd like to win one. I'm not entirely sure why everyone who owns one wants to win a new one so badly. I've still got a DS Fat, and as long as it plays games, I'm fine with that. But, you know, that's just me. I certainly can't speak to average gamer. Apparently.

I sort of see what you mean. Alan Wake seems pretty eye-openingly amazing, or summat. I mean, I've never played it, but I guess it was being developed for a while, so that's good...? Um...yeah it's probably--more or less--in the top 1 games on the 360. I mean, why not, right?
