As many of you all probably realize by now the meaning of this topic.  I shame fully admit to this and pains me to say I was wrong.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 came out and I finally played it.  Needs less to say I wish I would not have gotten the game.  Even though to my own fault as I over hyped this game so much I knew it was not going to live up to my standars.  As one person all ready told me today I hyped it up as they truely dumbed it down for more users.
Have you ever been so hyped for a game and got disappointed by the result?  If so which game and why did it disappoint you?

Unreal Tournament 3. It was the same game, with a lot prettier eye candy, more ruthless AI (screaming "FLAK ATTACK" in your face 24/7), and same extremely unbalanced gore-fest gameplay. It's still pretty good, it's just the same game as the superior Unreal Tournament 2004, with new maps and graphics.

Another game that was hyped up was the Wii launch title, Red Steel. It was hyped up to be an amazing launch-title FPS for the Wii. With countless commercials upon the days counting down to the release of the Wii, it really looked like it was worth a try. I think I speak for many when I say it was a lot less than "worth a try". A buggy game with terrible aiming and controls, it was not fun. It wasn't even good if you look past the flaws. Unrealistic and bland selection of weapons, paired up with a bad sword fighting mechanic- ahem, pardon me, I mean- bad waggle-fest mechanic...This game was just bad.
