• Thank god: Brett Favre will join Vikings tomorrow. We don't know about you, but we've been freaking out knowing that our brand new copy of Madden NFL 10 is already out of date with the recent news of famous quarterback Brett Favre signing with the Minnesota Vikings. Well, EA is saving us a trip to hospital, as they will be releasing an update tomorrow that puts Favre on his new team. Phew, now we can finally breathe without the help of a brown paper bag. [1UP]

• Ninjas/pirates possibly eating cake soon. Fat Princess developers Titan Studios recently posted art for both ninjas and pirates on their website leading many to assume both will soon be available as upcoming character classes. If so, they best be adding robots and zombies next as to not discriminate against popular stereotypical character types. [Kotaku]

• Scribblenauts developers are now drawn to consoles. Even though developer 5TH Cell is mostly known for making DS games, the studio's creative director tells GameSpot that it will now focus on making games for consoles. We're guessing the Wii.
