Fight Night Round 4 favors Pac Man to win this weekend's fight? Did that ghost hunter even pass the drug test?

News Blips:

Manny Pacquiao will win Saturday's welterweight showdown against Miguel Cotto if EA's Fight Night Round 4 simulation carries any real world weight. EA typically does these types of prediction simulations for NFL and NBA games using their corresponding games, so predicting a boxing match is a logical step to make. CNET is reporting that up to one million gamers with pirated consoles have been banned from Xbox Live recently. This comes in light of the recent sales success of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and some gamers painful realization that they've been banned for their pirating deeds. The popular shooter is reported to have sold 4.7 million units on day one in the UK and US (1.2 and 3.5 million copies respectively). The next question is, how many of those who actually bought the game can't play online on their modded consoles? [CNET]

In an effort to stay relevant in the digital age, GameStop is rolling out a new program to buy DLC content for games in store. Kiosks will be available for customers to use to purchase the content and then download it once they take their game online at home. When it's put that way, it looks like they're giving you the offer to buy the rest of your game for more than the initial cost. Great. [Joystiq]
