Video Blips: Dark Souls, Devil May Cry, Starhawk, and more

I don't think I've ever seen a website address with as blunt (and apt) of an outlook on my in-game life as Dark Souls' preparetodie.com

Video Blips:

• This complete prologue for Dark Souls still favors obscurity over exposition. So far, I've learned that catching floating embers is a normal occurrence, flaming circular symbols aren't good news, and a horrible death awaits me. I guess I'm ready now?

Continue after the break for a dose of Dante in Devil May Cry, a space rumble in Starhawk, and a time warp to some classic zones in Sonic Generations.

• Devil May Cry's Dante masters the art of the aerial juggle unlike any half-demon hellspawn before him. How? Because Hell hath no fury like a well-feathered hairdo.

• Space becomes the perfect arena for Starhawk's abundance of pew-pew. I'm still conflicted on which side to join: the space janitors or expressionist clown gang.

• Revisiting zone staples such as Green Hill and Chemical Plant allows another opportunity for spinning signs and saving tiny forest animals once more in Sonic Generations. Can't Sonic enjoy a pleasant cake picnic without getting hurled into a churning time vortex just once?

I love From Software's cinematics. Only two more weeks!
