Epic Mickey designer Warren Spector talks a little bit about how Disney cartoon characters' hearts work. Funny, this whole time I thought they were just lifeless drawings....

Video Blips:

• I'm glad that Warren Spector decided to go with early Disney characters (nothing past the late 1960s) for Epic Mickey. I mean, I like the mouse and all, but playing a game with some of these newer, more cutesy characters seems like it'd be kind of emasculating.

Continue after the break for a look at Telltale's Poker Night at the Inventory, a fiery preview of the "Vietnam" downloadable content for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and some new Donkey Kong Country Returns gameplay.

• What's the difference between playing cards with the cast of Poker Night at the Inventory or your friends? Answer: I don't think any of the video-game characters are chasing unrealistic dreams of one day becoming a professional poker.

• I'm sure you can't wait to get your hands on a flamethrower in Battlefield: Bad Company 2's Vietnam DLC. Just try not to set yourself on fire, OK?

• Who are those volcanic creatures at the beginning of this Donkey Kong Country Returns trailer, and what's their role in the game? Who cares! It's new, frantic DKCR gameplay. That's all you really want to see, right? [GameTrailers]
