And just like that, my cowardly immune system withers under yet another stampede of rhinoviruses and other friendly sounding afflictions. In other words, I got a cold again. Forgive me if my prose seems particularly perplexing, but my mind is slowly melting into a puddle from my nose's constant snuffling noises. Onward!

Video Blips:

• It could be me, but toting a gun that looks like a piece of tubing from a Dyson vacuum cleaner probably doesn't ensure a serene boat ride in Resistance 3. I could see this turning into a guided tour of sorts -- "Boggy Fog: The Ride!"

Continue after the break for the nuts and bolts of Terawatt Forest in Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, an excess leakage of evilness in a Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition sample match, and the dirtying of a refined gentleman's stovepipe hat in Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights.

• It's easy for differences to be set aside in Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, especially when a forest chock-full of collectibles tantalizingly presents itself. I'm genuinely intrigued to find out the justification behind Doctor Nefarious working with the good guys.

• Evil Ryu and an evil(er) version of Akuma named Oni both channel their inner Super Saiyan into glowing auras of energy in Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition. I'd always imagined Akuma as the one fighter with enough cajones to sport an icy wig -- I wasn't disappointed!

• An archaeologist and his feminine entourage of students discover ancient tunnels that lurked beneath their noses the whole time in Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights. I do hope the good doctor's next task is to solve the mystery behind the creepily pupil-less eyeballs of his students.
