We can assume that because you don't actually see people getting hit in the Tekken 6 viral promotion, it's all just pretend.

Video Blips:

• Tekken 6 decided to go the viral marketing route. Well, we hope this is the case and they didn't just beef up the graphics at the expense of the game's speed. [GameTrailers]

Continue after the break for the Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition trailer, a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 trailer that shoots and cusses up a storm, and an audio-only trailer for Fatale that more or less qualifies as a video blip.

• Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition totally breaks from the series norm. A guy and girl with guns go into a mansion that has a lot of traps, puzzles, and mood lighting. Err, wait. [Kotaku]

• We're not sure if the profanity in this Battlefield: Bad Company 2 match is scripted from the game or from live players. Judging by the lack of racist and homophobic insults, we're going with the former. [Joystiq]

• Here's a novel concept for the Fatale video game trailer: just include the audio. We know games these days like to blur traditional media boundaries, but this is getting kind of silly. [GameTrailers]

Man I love the Battlefield video. If all that language was scripted, it's nearly perfect. Stoked.
Oh and I think it's interesting that BF is releasing all this video content 6 months before the game is released, but 1 month before COD is released... competition anyone?
