A Nerd Comedy Show (March 6: An Official Bitmob Meet-Up!)

Comedians have taught us that hospital food is bad, black people are cooler than white people, and airplanes should be covered in the same crash-proof material black boxes are made out of. But when will someone school us on topics relevant to gamers? Like how to use World of Warcraft to help solve relationship problems?

Here comes Cross Platform Comedy 3.0 to the rescue: On Saturday, March 6 in San Francisco, CA, four comics -- all hardcore gamers or game-industry veterans -- will entertain the crowd with a wide variety of nerd-worthy humor. Headliner Jeff Reitman has hit up WOW, The Sims, superheroes, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and more in past acts, and you should expect plenty more geeky LOLs from him and the other comedians.

I really want to go! Being stuck in Massachusetts is the worst. At least PAX is in a month. I really wish I could do video game stand up comedy, but you really need to have the right audience for it. SF is perfect for that, which is why I really want to get out there at some point. Good luck to the comics!

Augh! I don't think I'm gonna make it, even though I'll be in San Francisco that day for Academy of Art's open house. The price is a little much for me. Gotta eat, and all. I dunno, I'm still on the fence.
