Ancient Pokémon Drawings

I'm a pretty big PokéFreak, so I thought this reinterpretation of Pokémon as traditional Japanese art was pretty cool. The Pokémon that looked like monsters to begin with don't appear too different, but the cute and cuddly ones -- like Squirtle and Pikachu -- look scary as hell [via Kotaku]:

You can see every first and second generation Pokémon -- meaning the ones from Pokémon Red, Blue, Silver, and Gold -- in this style at Asamegraph.

Duuuuuude, Jigglypuff and it's evolution are some creepy fuckers. I might play a Pokemon game again if they all looked like this.

When I first saw this style I immediately set the picture as my wallpaper. I had this awesome Breakout theme going on...then Pokemon ruined it.

Look at how creepy Parasect is. You'll have to view the full image to see it.
