Okay, so this was destroyed in the Great Bitmob Upgrade of 2010.
Welcome to the Bitmob High Score Challenge: The George Costanza Classic featuring Frogger. For those of you who do not know George Costanza, the character from Seinfeld, held the high score in Frogger until recently. Well, in his fictional-honor we will celebrate by holding a week long competition in his game of choice.
This Week's Game: Frogger
When: Feb 21-28
Where: Kongregate
What You'll Win: If you get the top score you'll win a kinship with George Costanza that shall never be broken.
How To Join: Sign up for Kongregate and send me a friend request and put your name in the comments.
IMPORTANT
How to make sure your score counts: This version of Frogger doesn't have score tracking through Kongregate. What is worse is that it also doesn't save the scores for more than 2 days. If you get an especially high score try to tell me immediately in the comments or on Twitter. If it is a really high score you may want to take a screencap -- as you can see that Pete Davison did in the comments.
Canabalt Results after the jump.
The Top 3 results from Canabalt week --
1. Derek Lavigne - EternalBeta - 19,982
2. Cody Winn - NintendoTheory - 16,032
3. Alex Cronk-Young - Magitek85 - 13,090
It was an intense week of competitive gaming. Derek came out on top, but only after some pressure from Cody and Alex. Alex took the lead early on the last day of play, but Derek didn't stand for that long.
Cody's sudden appearance convinced Derek not to quit play and eventually Derek put up the unreachable score of 19,982.
It was a great week all around.
