A little while ago, we asked our stalwart Bitmob community to take a stab at writing about the Deus Ex series -- either the new Deus Ex: Human Revolution or its predecessors. Here, we present three of those articles -- and one oldie-but-goodie you may have missed. Fire up your ocular augmentations and check 'em out.

Human Revolution's path of least resistance leads right into man-mountain
By Tristan Damen
The great thing about the Deus Ex games is the flexibility and choice that they offer. Tristan breaks down his experience with the game's stealth mechanics...and how they allowed him to unexpectedly circumvent one of DX:HR's bosses. He also makes some comparisons to another famous sneaker, Solid Snake.

Being bad in Deus Ex
By Chris Rogel
Morality in Deus Ex isn't a simple binary choice as it is in other titles. Often you won't see the consequences of your actions (or inactions) until much further down the road. Then again, you could also play like Chris and just murder everyone in sight, looting their corpses and stealing from ATMs as you go. (Make sure you click through for a clever photo that subverts the classic cover art.)

Curiosity pays off in Deus Ex: Human Revolution
By Chris "Cosmo" Ross
You've already seen this on the Bitmob front page, but it's worth another look. "To me," Chris writes, "Human Revolution isn’t as much about choice as it is about being rewarded through experimentation." That's pretty much the heart and soul of Deus Ex right there.

What Deus Ex did for me
By Christian Higley
Christian explains the dramatic effect that just a single choice in the original Deus Ex had on him. More importantly, that decision caused him to play the rest of the game in an entirely different manner: non-lethally. "What was great about Deus Ex was that it led me to make that next choice (to not kill anyone) and allowed me to see it through," Christian writes.

Wha?! I meant to write something new but got sidelined by a very necessary wisdom teeth extraction. Tragically, I've barely been able to play Human Revolution. :(
