Dear BitMobbers,

As I waited patiently reading what Juan put out his live blog of the confences I got to thinking about GOW.  Now ain't it funny that GOW is fun to even though it has been out for awhile?

Think about it for a moment when you read those first words from GOW.  Now that you remembered them lets take it a step further.  Did you imagine what you just read or hurry up past all the delicate pages?

Since I am late for work I am going to post this and then when I get to work edit it for longer.

Just got to work an hour later.   Sorry for the interuption of this story.

If you have not figured out what I was talking about then I will have to tell you.  GOW means Grapes of Wrath the book not the video game.  You can start the flaming right now, but really think about it.

Three letters that people drool over and flock to.  Fanboys from either system will agree that the acronym GOW is best thing ever made.  Now I don't know if someone realized this before or not, but lets break down these games.

Sony's GOW:

A great single player experience with lots of great stroy telling.  Now this person is the UnOfficial Bad ASS Mascot.  With it going to a third installment next year I believe many people will buy a console just for this game.  it will re start the surge for PS3 being sold.

Microsoft's GOW:

Have not played the 2nd one and only played the first one since it was given to me.   This I would say has a feature called Horde mode which many people are trying to copy.  When people think Xbox they think of Marcus and GOW.  DLC still comes out for this game and fanboys are all ready wanting to have a third for some more action.

With either choice it is hard not to see anything with the acronym GOW not to be a top seller.  So if you ever hit up a book store I believe you need to stop by the Book Grapes of Wrath and give a small thank you for lending the acronym to each on of these games.

                Cheers,

                         Toby

Haha, it is pretty funny that two huge system exclusives share that acronym. That's the first time I've ever heard of that book though.
