How to win a Pokémon battle with a Metapod

Metapod isn't exactly known for his abilities as a fighter. He's probably best known as that annoying Pokémon from Viridian Forest that can only use Harden, instigating a whole generation's worth of dick jokes.

So it's pretty interesting to see someone win a Pokémon battle by dominating with him. It involves some trickery, but no cheating or anything of the sort. The fight makes for some pretty amusing viewing.

The guy making that video has every right to be a cocky ass. That was truly amazing.

I've seen people dominate with LvL 1 Rattatas and Nosepass's. It's sick. There's ways to get around them but if you're not prepared, prepare to die.

So this is what it's like to not play WoW and read or watch videos about WoW.

1. this video is really not that impressive.

Baton pass teams are the most retarded thing in the world and the fact that the other guy was unable to stop him shows how horrible of a player he is.

I don't think his arrogance is justified. It's a kid's game FFS! People who take Pokemon that seriously are really just...disturbed.

My play style doesn't mesh with those tactics anyway. I put almost no stock in status effect or buff moves, I'm all about the attacks.

My philosophy is thus: Why waste a turn buffing/debuffing when you can hurt the other guy instead?

Because when the other player is done buffing, your attack will do a lot less damage than you think, and before you know it your team has been swept. Also, Pokemon is a kid's game on the surface. Beneath that, you have one of the most meticulously deep RPG's ever.
