"My four-year-old son plays GTA"...now in China

Congrats to Bitmob community writer Matthew Orona. Not only is his My four-year-old-son plays Grand Theft Auto article the number-one trafficked post on our site (by a huge margin, by the way), but now, gamers in China know what an awful, awful father he is. (Just kidding -- read the story to see what happens.)

I&U Game Magazine (that's supposed to be "I heart you," but they refer to it as "I&U" in our email exchange), which is published by GameSpot China, reached out to us a few weeks ago to see if they could reprint Matthew's story in their premiere issue. We said that was cool, as long as they don't forget to credit him for the piece.

See below for the cover, plus the first two pages of Matthew's article...in Chinese!

How did it translate into Chinese?

What, you asking me because I'm Chinese, and you expect that we can all read that? Racist!

I'm just kidding. If I were a better Chinese person, I would be able to read that. But alas, I'm not and I can't. So I don't know. :)

Ah, well I was just wondering "from a personal standpoint" how well it translated. Wondering if the context was still the same, or if it would be full of oddness.

Yeah, I totally know what you mean. No idea. Maybe we should have someone translate it *back* into English and see how it reads. ;)

Heck yea! That's awesome! I just want to know how to get a copy of that.

Matthew, I think they intend to send me a copy. If I do, I'll get in touch with you and send it your way. You deserve it more than I do!

Wow, thank you Dan. I would truly appreciated that. You are a gentleman and a scholar. I don't care what Randy Snow says about you. Just kidding. :)

Thank you for picking it up and editing it.

This is fantastic! Truly a testament to what is possible if you completely disregard the ESRB and use common sense parenting skills. And then write about it. On Bitmob. With skill.

Congrats, Matthew!

Congrats Matthew!

It's an awesome article. I can relate to it because the first video game I ever played was Leisure Suit Larry. My father introduced me to it, he sat with me and taught me how to spell the words to get from place to place (this was the original monochrome version). The experience simultaneously spurred my interest in video games,  learning english and learning how to write in general.

Congratulations, man.

BTW: What's up with that Assassin's Creed chick?

Why do they have a picture of what looks like Sunset Blvd. in L.A.? I guess that's kind of Grand Theft Auto-esque.
