Osama Bin Laden always said he would live long enough to see Duke Nukem Forever be released. Well, Obama made sure that wouldn’t happen.

Silicon Knights intends to finish the Too Human series. We haven’t heard much about Too Human since it fizzled in its August 2008 debut. What was originally slated to be an epic, exclusive trilogy for the Xbox 360 has mostly been forgotten after the first title earned a 65 Metacritic score and only sold 165,000 units in its first month. That doesn’t mean that Norse mythology is dead. Speaking to IndustryGamers, Silicon Knights president Dennis Dyack said, “We intend to finish the trilogy but no comment beyond that.” Dyack also pointed out that his studio’s litigation with Epic over their Unreal Engine may be affecting the series. Perhaps if they get some of that sweet litigation money they can afford to make another Too Human.
Bethesda releases a fix for the broken Fallout: New Vegas patch. A recent update to the notoriously bug-plagued game did the unthinkable -- it made the game less playable. The jacked-up patch actually broke the save feature on Xbox 360, which caused Obsidian to ask players to reject the download when prompted. Now, the developer has yet another upgrade which will repair previous damage. Of course, fans must be asking themselves: What will this one break?
Ubisoft begins social media marketing campaign to reveal the next Assassin’s Creed game. Fans of the history-traipsing series can head to Facebook.com/assassinscreed to help work towards unlocking the exclusive first look at what is likely Assassin’s Creed 3. Those interested in doing their part will have to “Like” Assassin’s Creed and then wait -- preferably in that order. Currently, the “Activity Monitor,” which is measuring how far away we all are from the sneak peek, is at 16 percent. Time to get your bets in for what you believe the next setting will be for Desmond’s ancestor.
