Puzzler: Identify the video-game dogs

Video-game dogs provide companionship and protection to their masters, although some mutts can be rabid assholes. Study the following images, and try to guess the games these tail-waggers are from. Not all of them have names, so feel free to give them one.

Wow, I was doing GREAT right up until the last four, then I ...I just bombed.  I recognized #10, but since I've never played that, the only reason I recognized the dog was because I remember my awkwardly strong Gamepro phase (back when they were thick as phonebooks) where all I did was look at every picture of every game on every system I would never own and be filled with desire and sadness.

I did the same thing with game magazines. I even had my mom subscribe me to Nintendo Power without even owning an NES. Thanks to Block Buster Video I rented all the games I ever wanted to play, except Neo Geo titles. Desire and sadness indeed.

You know a "guess the gaming cats" Puzzler is inevitable....

Seven out of 10. I love dogs. I need #5 to guard my house.

I got 1, 2, 3, and 5, and then it all went downhill from there.
