Although Fight Night Champion attempts to instill a sense of plot in a game about boxing, I'm not so sure that bullish-looking men have the proper disposition for theater.
Video Blips:
• Fight Night Champion's tale of the boxing industry's seedy undercurrents is punctuated by bouts of heavy head trauma. I suppose "pounding it into your brain" is a worthwhile method of remembering lines for these actors.
Continue after the break for Epic Games' Mike Capps waxing poetic on Bulletstorm, the pirate-infested coves of Tera, and the debut trailer of Dragon Quest 6's North American release.
• The muse is upon Epic Games President Mike Capps as he extols his love of Bulletstorm. This just proves that the shower is the best place for deep-seated philosophical thinking.
• Every game needs that little spark to make it special, and for Tera, it's pirates. As long as said pirates don't include a schizophrenic failed captain and his whiny cohort, we'll be good.
• At long last, Dragon Quest 6: Realms of Revelation hits U.S. shores on February 14. I would pull out the old "say goodbye to your life" cliché again, but that's probably a given.
