This weekend Las Vegas plays host to the largest fighting-game tournament in the world: EVO 2011. Top players from around the globe have traveled here to compete in Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, Mortal Kombat, Tekken 6, and other games.
For the first time ever, EVO is providing two live streams so that everyone can watch their favorite games played on the highest level, and you can watch both here on Bitmob!
All games begin at 8 a.m. PST and run until 11 p.m. The times are three hours later on the east coast.
Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition
The most popular series in the community returns for a third year and with a lot of changes. Arcade Edition focuses more on offense, and top players like Daigo Umehara and Justin Wong have switched to characters like Yun, Yang, and Fei Long who are the clear favorites in this 39-man roster.
EVO, however, has plenty of character specialists who can challenge these beasts, including top-seeded Wolfkrone (C. Viper), Japanese powerhouse Tokido (Akuma), Korean player Poongko (Seth), and Mike Ross (E. Honda), the co-host of the popular web series Cross Counter. But with over a thousand players in the brackets, anything could happen and anyone can make a name for his or herself.
Tomorrow: Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, Tekken 6, and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2.
Sunday: Grand Finals for all games.
