If you like free games, this next gem of the Internet is for you. The White Chamber is an anime-styled horror game for the PC that is like a layman's attempt at a Shin Megami Tensei game. The fact that it is indeed free should encourage you to give it a shot, as it does have a few surprising and rewarding elements.

The White Chamber

While the character models are simplistic, the world offers a surprising depth that I typically don't expect from easily-obtained games. I am being intentionally vague so that you'll give it a chance, and because I am still in the process of exploring this title. Let's explore it together, Bitmobbers!

You can download the anime-horror adventure here.

That art is terrible. It looks like something out of a how-to-draw book. Fun game, though.

I played this game over a year ago. To be honest, I was shocked at just how atmospheric and creepy it was. True. the main character design is uninspired, but the rest of the graphics have an excellent and tactile feel to them.

Point and click adventures truly are the genre that just won't die.

Calling that "anime" is a rather egregious stretch of the term, honestly. But I will try the game anyway.
