Zombrex Dead Rising Sun should win some type of movie award for its name alone.

News Blips:

Zombrex Dead Rising Sun• Capcom plans to bring the Dead Rising film, Zombrex Dead Rising Sun, to North America for free online viewing. Joystiq reports that the company intends to release the movie serially (in eight parts) with different audio options, including an English dub and Japanese language track with English subtitles. It's probably the best flick with a "Wheelchair of Destruction" that you'll ever see.

• The Microsoft Store's official Twitter account says that gamers can try out Kinect at their self-titled brick-and-mortar locations. Of course, only four stores exist in the U.S.: Scottsdale, AZ; Mission Viejo, CA; San Diego, CA; and Lone Tree, CO. Sorry, rest of the country; I guess you're just gonna have to wait until Best Buy gets a display model.

• Seaman creator Yoot Saito recently teased a possible 3DS sequel to the Dreamcast cult classic in a recent Twitter message. Andriasang reports (via a paraphrased translation) that a fan asked him about a port, and Saito responded that the individual should keep hoping for the game, though he did not give specifics. Furthermore, they report that the developer said that he and his staff "will work to respond to (the fan's) expectations." It's inevitable that after a new technology comes out, people would want to see Seaman on it.

Recording artist M.I.A. is concerned over children's exposure to video-game violence. She discussed with Connect magazine (via CVG) the difference between experiencing violence firsthand versus in a computer game, noting that kids who only see the latter are "then getting shipped off to Afghanistan." She also said that "not having a proper understanding of violence, especially what it's like on the receiving end of it, just makes you interpret it wrong and makes inflicting violence easier." I feel like if politicians really cared about this issue, they should take a logical stance like M.I.A.'s...and subsequently commit political suicide.
