Super Street Fighter 4 Profiles: Select Your Warrior

Hakan Guy Adon Dudley Juri DeeJay Cody Makoto Ibuki

Through the links above, you can reach the profiles of all the new fighters in Super Street Fighter 4 (the real version, of course, will contain all these guys plus the original cast from SF4). In each one, Seth Killian, Capcom's special advisor to SF4 and SSF4, tells us what he likes about each new World Warrior -- as well as who's going to give them the most trouble in a fight.

If you didn't get to read these Super Street Fighter 4 Profiles the first time around, you should now. The game's due out next week (April 27) for the Xbox 360 and PS3, and Killian's insider tips could give you the upper hand against your opponents.

Plus: We're giving away a copy of each version of Super SF4 just for reading what Capcom's Street Fighter know-it-all has to say. See below for the details.

Contest Rules:

We're giving away one (1) copy each of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Super Street Fighter 4 after the game ships. All you have to do to enter is:

1. Register on Bitmob.com with your real, full, first and last name.

2. Comment below on which character (new to Super SF4, from the select screen above) you're planning on playing and why. You don't have to write a lot here, but you do need to prove that you actually read Killian's feedback on that particular fighter. Also state which version (360 or PS3) you'd want if you were to win.

Void where prohibited. Continental US only unless you're OK with covering shipping via PayPal (please note this in the comment as well). Out of the eligible entries, we'll draw two at random and contact the winners via the email they registered with on Bitmob.

Special thanks to Bitmob art/designer/developer dudes Gary Lu and Ryan Rubis for helping me create this screenshot!

UPDATE: The contest is now over. Congrats to Adam Wright (360) and Marko Cotra (PS3). Random number generator determined that you won on the morning of April 27. Thank you everyone for entering!

Dudley is definitely my fighter of choice out of the new guys. I hate Ruffians just as much as he does. I also like well rounded fighters to choose from between playing a lot of Akuma. And if his ultra is one of the better ones in the game, playing as anyone else is a tough sell. 360 here.

Dudley, dude. From the Killian post, it seems like he has not real weakness aside from ranged fighters, which makes him a great character for beginners. Plus, he keeps it classy. Multi-hit combo's without having to do much also make him great for impressing friends. PS3 here.

T-Hawk, because I want to bring the pain of Pile drivers to my opponents.  PS3 Version Here.

Definitely gonna go with Cody. I know hes gonna have some problems with projectile characters but thats fun of it for me to find ways around it. Also it's gonna be fun to throw rocks and using the knife while Cody says, "ha-ha" and mess with others while playing. He's also looking like a serious character to choose as. You also cant hate on his ultrawith the homerun hit with a pipe for good final fight memories. PS3 here

I'm loving Hakan (I'm pronouncing it Hack-on, since my general SF strategy is to just hack away at the buttons.)  I hate fireball-spammers anyway, so his weakness won't be anything new for me.  He sounds like the sort of character I wanted Abel to be.  Plus, I just like the idea of fighting as a greasy man with a moustache.  He also has the best motivation for fighting...  I mean, how could you let the adorable mushroom-children down?  I'd gratefully accept a PS3 version if I'm lucky enough to get chosen!

Since the last SF game I spent any serious time playing was SFA3 on the Saturn, I'm probably going to gravitate to one of the familiar faces from that game - either Adon, Cody, or Guy.  Out of those three, based on the profiles, I'd probably start off with Adon.  Even though his sound effects drove me crazy back in the day, he did have one of the most unique stances in Street Fighter, and I'm interested to see what Seth was talking about when he discussed how good Adon's 3D model turned out.  360 for me!

Juri will be my pick the second I get the game. I really enjoy El Fuerte because of how fast he is and the variety of setups he uses, so Juri will probably be a good character for me. From what Seth says, Juri is all about mobility and using a variety of quick moves, so I think she'll be a good fit for me. I like having a lot of ways to attack - playing against way too many Ken's and Sagat's has gotten me tired of the same old fireball fireball uppercut fireball gameplay. I'm pretty awful at hitting that final game-changing super attack, so characters that rely on hitting ultras to win don't fit well with me. Seth said you don't need to get that one big hit in, just a series of good, fast-hitting combos. That, I can do.

Xbox 360 version.

I'm actually really interested in trying out Juri. From what Killian said, she seems to have a lot of versatility from all distances and for a fighting game scrub like me, that could be really useful. Definitely 360 for me.

I'm thinking I might try Makoto since I'm usually pretty bad at defense in Street Fighter and she seems to be pure offense according to Seth.

I'm gonna go with Ibuki, played a little SFIII back on the PS2 and she was a character I was always interested in trying but never got around to. Her combo and mix-up potential sounds like my style of fighting coming out of recent experience with Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. PS3 version entry please, I can paypal the shipping if needed. (I've always wondered why it costs more to ship to Hawaii since we are technically part of the US Postal areas, if anyone here can enlighten me...)

Hakan appears to be Zangief on steroids, so I'd definitely try him out first. Plus, even if he's terrible, at least I'll enjoy the dumbfounded look on my opponents face as I continuously dump bottle upon bottle of oil all over my head! haha (And I'd definitely prefer the PS3 version, thanks!)

I'm excited to play as Dudley! I like having a variety of strategies when I play a fighting game, and he seems to have a good balance. Also, it's great to know he has one of the best Ultras! I could use the extra help especially how my brother-in-law always kicks my butt because he is ridiculously good. Let's face it, Dudley has a sweet 'stache. Not to mention how it makes me laugh that Killian uses Dudley's phrase, which I will consider to use for fun especially when the trash talking ensues. :)

PS3, please.

Hakan. I have had my eye on him from the original profile pieces Dan wrote. I really like his character design and from what I've been able to gather about his mechanics, he's definitely a character that will grow on me. I found Zangief to be really effective through most of the franchise so I am looking for someone to expand on that success. Killian likes to point out that Hakan's sliding move will not be a longlasting gain but I have a feeling I will be able to utlize it to new potentials as many opponents tend to never expect it. The PS3 version of the game interests me most. Thanks.

Why would I NOT play as Makoto? As a prior Zangief player, I started to fade away from his powerful upclose/ inclose combat as I began to play other fighters like Blazblue. the sheer speed of the game made me wish that Zangief could be faster, just like a drug I kept feinding for a faster Zangief. Soon enough, I just switched to Ken, but now that I hear the sheerly offensive Makoto is coming to SSF4?!?! My stomach has found a new place in my throat due to the excitement that I have in playing as her. I can't wait to see the new Xbox 360 version, long live Shoe and long live Bitmob!

I'm going with Adon.  Seth Killian said NOTHING positive about Adon other than he looks nice and has a cool Ultra. Other people who played early versions of the game have been down on him as well.  I only played Street Fighter Alpha 3 casually, but I like Adon's Starscream complex and his lunging attack style.  I guess I want to find out if Adon will be as bad as people are making him out to be.

Xbox 360 version.

I'm going for Dudley the first chance I get. He was one of my favourites back in 3rd Strike and it looks like he's still got almost all of his tricks intact. I was kind of surprised to see that his d+HK is still a launcher; that one in particular seemed like it wouldn't fit into SF4's flavour, for some reason. And his Corkscrew Blow's back (albeit modified a bit)! For 3rd Strike vets, he'll probably be a bit easier to figure out than Makoto, who's undergone more drastic changes.

PS3 version!

April 19, 2010

I'm going with Cody.  I never played the Alpha games, but from the sounds of things Cody seems like he would fit my aggressive style of play.  I tend to play more close range anyway, and Cody seems like he would fit my needs based on what Seth described.  I am looking forward to using him and looking for ways to work in his turn punch in combos.  Xbox 360 here.

Makoto might be the one I end up being most comfortable with among the new cast, but Juri is the one that interests me most with her fighting style.

Ibuki! Ninjas are awesome and just not that utilized in this series. Just like any admorable ninja, she's got a slew of long distant weapons and attacks to annoy opponits into a combo chain attack. I look forward to this ninjette on PS3,

I think overall the character of the bunch I'm most interested in playing is Juri, with Hakan in close second. Juri seems like the typical type of character I would play in a fighting game, light and fast, not going to take you out in one hit but going to be crazy all over the screen getting lots of little hits in to wear you down. Her fireball seems neat too. I also like that she has options and close, medium and long range.

Hakan just seems neat and different and goofy. His play style doesn't sound like what I would normally play but that's what also makes him interesting to me. Though anyone wasting olive oil on greasing themselves up as opposed to cooking delicious food kinda makes me sad :/

I'm a PS3 guy game wise.

April 19, 2010

I'm really interested in playing Dudley. I played a lot of shoto characters (Ryu, Sagat and Gouken) in SFIV proper and never really gave other characters a chance. It would also be interesting to see if I could keep close-range pressure up instead of the way I usually played the characters above. I would want the PS3 version.

Makoto's throwback to Ryu/Ken style and up-close combat suit my gameplay from countless hours of SF across so many gaming systems. The high mobility in combination with the crushing damage of a Zangief make for an exciting character. Xbox360 here.

Haken should be fun.  I think it is going to be a WTF moment for my roomate when he firsts see's him, and Haken is poouring oil all over himself and then throws mt roomates guy all through out the stage.  Should be a lot of fun.

Ibuki's probably going to be the one for me. I tripped myself up in SF4 by investing too many hours into Ryu and I need an unpredictable choice for online matches before everyone gets too good and starts ripping me apart. Between her long range fireballs/kunai's, crazy chain combos and aversion to Focus attacks I should be able to get into her moveset pretty quickly. The first potential problem is that she's not very resilient which could lead to a lot of frustration. The second problem is disgruntled SF3 players might come back to the game and master her, outclassing my barely passable fighting skills.

April 20, 2010

At first I wanted to go with Dudley for his style, but the more I hear about Juri, the more I want to try her.  As a dedicated Vega player, I love the sound of being able to get creative with mixups at all ranges.  Very much looking forward to playing this on 360!

Default_picture
April 20, 2010

Hakan interested me first because of his unique oil wrestling, but then I thought about it and remembered I really dislike grappling characters in most fighting games, so I read on and decided on Ibuki. I really like fast paced characters, even if there attacks are lacking in the damage department, and they are bad defensively. But really, being fully offensive is my style. Dashing around at high speeds, and every now and then leaping out of the way only to deliver a painful Kunai attack from long range, then leaping back in to dash around and deliver strings of quick attacks really seems like the way to go for my playing style! And I know all my friends will make fun of me for playing as a girl... but screw em!

Hopefully, either by this giveaway or by cutting into my ramen and pizza money, this game will grace my Xbox 360 very soon!

I would probably chose Makoto out of the new characters. I like the fact that she is a very offensive character, you have to be very aggressive in order to win a match. Her super which makes her go into a rage-mode is something that has a lot of potential. Mixing grabs, kicks and punches with her while in this mode can very well change the outcome of any match where it seems as if you are losing.

Guy is old school. I'll be kickin' butt with Guy just like I did back in Final Fight. I like how Guy is more of an expert character, requiring you to get in close. If I fight Zangief or Honda, I'll just have to play more defense.

Xbox 360 version please.

April 20, 2010

Boy, Seth's previews are kind of pessimistic. Every time he describes who will give the new characters "problems," they are exactly the kinds of players I face and am frustrated by. Still, I'll probably give Cody a try because he was my favorite Final Fight character. Guy was awesome in the Alpha series but really complicated to use.

If I win, I will happily pay shipping to receive a PS3 copy of the game. Thanks

I've gotta roll with Hakan; there's  a strange allure to Turkish oil wrestling, and I'm digging the strategy involved with dousing one's self with olive oil to up the ante.

I'm not a big fighting game guy, but I played a fair amount of Street Fighter 2 back in the day. I'm hoping to pick up a PS3 soon and wouldn't mind having this in my collection. I'd probably play as T.Hawk out of these characters. His being a blatant stereotype reminds me of Punch Out!, plus as a SF newb, I can apparently spam pile-drivers with him. So, that might help me actually win a couple matches.

I am really interested in guy, simply for that old school final fight nostlgia. I am also interested in the PS3 version.

Default_picture
April 20, 2010

I'm probably going to go with Makoto. I'm not a big fan of characters reliant on long flashy combos and so Makoto's straightforward, yet strategic, offensive style suits me. Also, Seth's comparisons to Zangief pretty much confirms that I'll like her, since that's who I currently play as my main character.

PS3 version here.

Ibuki for sure! When I first heard about SSFIV adding SFIII characters I got excited and hoped she would be in. Back then I trained day and night with her and was unstoppable. Reading her profile excites me more, I know she's one of a kind with her moveset and the chain combos are going to be killer this time around. She isn't the strongest of the bunch sure, but I mean she's a ninja <-> nuff said.

PS3 Version on my side :D

I’m interested in playing with Makoto.  First of all she looks badass and second of all, as the article mentioned she’s like a mini-Zangief.  My friend Athanasios always uses Zangief as his go to guy so I figure it will be a FUN match!  Mini zangief vs ZANGIEF.

I also personally feel like a strong offense is a good defense IRL so that works with me.  Regardless this game is gonna rock when it comes out.  Thanks for the great article! Presentation was sick.

I've never played a Street Fighter game, and this one seems like a good place to start. I'm interested in playing as T. Hawk, as he looks the coolest and has a cool sounding jab-pile driver. If I were to win, I would want the Ps3 version.

Default_picture
April 20, 2010

I'm going to try and main Dudley since it looks like he has tons of options that can land into an Ultra. As Seth says, Dudley is a close-mid range character which fits my playing style. I main Balrog in vanila SF, so it will be interesting change.

360 version for me please!

April 20, 2010

I'm going to go with Cody, I play a defensive game of Street Fighter and from watching videos and reading Seth's profile of him, he seems to be the most defensive of the new characters.  If I win I'd like the PS3 copy.

Default_picture
April 20, 2010

I'll be using Guy, largely because I've always sucked with him and I'd like to change that.  He also happens to star in the best Final Fight game, though considering the rest of the franchise, that might not be so impressive.  There are probably more good Street Fighter games using Final Fight character than good Final Fight games.  I'd like the 360 version!  And I don't mind paying extra shipping fees to Canada.

Default_picture
April 20, 2010

I will definitely try them all, but I am excited to finally be able to use some SFIII characters! Dudley is most intriguing to me. It'll be nice to try out a different style of boxer, and his versatility will be most welcome. Xbox 360 version, for me.

Default_picture
April 20, 2010

This is a tough choice for me since I'm excited about several of the characters. As an old school Final Fight fan both Cody and Guy appeal to me. But after recently getting into SF3:3S Dudley is my choice. As Seth mentioned, he brings a touch of class to the series and his "command" style move set works much better for me than that "other" boxer. PS3 version if I win. Thanks!

Default_picture
April 20, 2010

Makoto, which is great since the author seems to dawn her as his favorite. I am not a defensive player at all in most fighting games because I lack in skill... so all out offense for me is fun... going back to button masher games I suppose. Anyway, I never got to try her out in 3 so maybe in 4 I'll have a new SF main to play as. Akuma has always been a previous favorite for me as a side note. PS3 for me!

April 20, 2010

Ibuki. She's got the range game with the kunai, which I've always loved, as it keeps people guessing when you take to the air. Can't psychic DP a knife! Up close, she's got the high-low mixup I like, and if she keeps her overhead kick, I'm set. A little worried about her taking so much damage (30-40%???) from a big combo, but I'll deal.

I live in Canada, but I'll pay shipping for a 360 version. Thanks.

I want to play as Juri since she looks like a fast character. In addition to the different types of surprise fireballs, it will make good tricky plays.

If I win, I would like a PS3 version of the game please!!

Dudley all the way. Hopefully his corkscrew blow will be stronger than ever, because I can hardly wait. Although, I hope they didn't remove too many classic tag lines. Nothing makes me happier than to stand over my crushed opponent and exclaim "Gutter Trash!"

PS3 please!

I'm going to go with DeeJay, actually. He was one of my favorite characters in Super Street Fighter 2 and I like Seth's comments about his ability to keep away opponents that like to get in your face. Those types of opponents really trip me up in Street Fighter IV. Also, fireballs are a nice plus for him, too -- it should be much easier for me to create distance between myself and my opponents.

PS3 version, please!

I plan on fully exploring all of the new fighters, but if I had to choose one, I'm leaning toward Juri. Besides the obvious nationalistic connection, I'm eager to see her high offensive capability and how she'll matchup against big bruisers.

Xbox 360, if you please.

Cody, because who needs hadokens when you have rocks to throw at your opponent. Sure, he may have a hard time getting in characters with projectiles, but once he gets in range, he's a heavy damage hitter!

Xbox 360 please!

I'm psyched for Guy!  I love playing as characters that take a lot of thought and planning and skill.  I can be decent with all the players, but I love picking one player with a lot of depth and really learning that character.  For instance, I've played thousands of hours with Ness in SSB and I hope Guy can be that for me in SSFIV

I'm gonna get it for PS3!!!!!

Default_picture
April 20, 2010

I'm going to be learning Makoto, mainly because she seems to be an extreme form of my current main character: Bison.  Bison's game plan is based on playing mind games while delivering a steady series of attacks that always keeps the opponent guessing; his defence was pretty anemic and, depending on the situation, his defensive options consisted of nothing and close-to-nothing.  After reading Seth's article, Makoto seems to rely on the same pattern: Keep up offensive pressure because the alternative is to be completely screwed.  I'm actually going back to try and learn 3rd Strike to learn Makoto better (I've never really put much time into 3s since I couldn't find a character I liked).  I'm choosing 360 as my console.

Default_picture
April 21, 2010

I think I'm really looking forward to playing as Juri the most. I was first draw to her for her character design, but after reading what Seth had to say, I'm sure I'll really enjoy giving her a shot. Becasue she is so versatile, I think I'll have an easier time learning her than I would the other new characters, and I should be able to develop my own unique play style. It seems like she can have decent mach-ups with pretty much any other character. Oh, I'm a PS3 guy!

Default_picture
April 21, 2010

I'm leaning towards Ibuki as I never gave her a shot in previous games. I'm more offensive than defensive anyway so she should be a good fit for me. I main El Fuerte for his mobility and up close attacks; add in the (somewhat limited) range attacks from Ibuki, she should be a lock for me. PS3 please

Default_picture
April 21, 2010

I'd be using Makoto due to the mind games she plays with her offensive moves. I'm not much of a defensive player, so her potential troubles wouldn't affect my play style much. Ultimately though I'm hoping the game is a bit more fun as SFIV, for me, would be fun until a certain fight and I'd hit a brick wall in difficulty. Xbox 360.

Default_picture
April 21, 2010

Im going to start using Ibuki when super street fighter 4 comes out because as seth said she has a wide arrange of moves using both far and close range attacks, plus i like the fact that she can pull off fast combo's in a large chain.

I can't wait to play as Makoto. Any character with an all-in style offense is good for me, plus I don't need to worry about defense since I won't really have one. Definitely 360.

Default_picture
April 21, 2010

I'll definitely be going with Dudley, and it's not just because Seth says he's an extremely strong close to midrange fighter.  I'm choosing him because, like Seth said, he has oodles and oodles of awesome style and was one of my favorite characters from 3rd Strike.

"Let's fight like gentlemen!"

And he had an awesome car.  Just a classy gent all around and way cooler than stupid Balrog.

It feels silly to have reasons outside the game in question, but I've been a sucker for Ibuki since Pocket Fighter (the best Capcom fighting game ever). She's small, fast, and oh-so-fashionable. I love her diagonal air attacks, and if she's got dashes like Seth says, I'm going to love dancing obnoxiously around my opponents. Offense is how I play, so I can use the speed he talks about to avoid those big hits and keep my foes on the ground.

360 for this Ibuki fan.

Default_picture
April 21, 2010

Makoto, of course. I'm grabby, it gives me more time to think during a match because the grab and throw animations are always fairly long.

As Seth pointed to this character as an "all in" character, it's a good fit for me since I am usually not a defensive player. I like the quick female characters, but can't stand Chun-Li. I'm not an expert player, but usually my favorite players wear a gi :)

I like PS3!

Default_picture
April 21, 2010

So many characters to choose from.  I want to start off with guy and cody since these two took the law into their own hands and pwned the mafia.  It sucks that guy can't dance circles against zangief becuz of his lariat get out of jail card even though he's a ninja!  Cody on the other hand seems to be more versatile than guy who has to run in and out.  Not a big fan of the prison clothes as his default..............PS3 please!

Default_picture
April 22, 2010

For me, I'd go for Juri.  I haven't played SF games in a long time, but Chun Li was always my favorite because of her speed and versatility, and based on the description here, Juri seems like the closest to that, and her move combinations as well.

360 here!

Default_picture
April 22, 2010

I'll go with Cody. He brings me good memories from his previous game appearances, and promises to be an all-around good brawler. :)

I'd like a 360 copy, and I'll gladly paypal the shipping and handling to Brazil. :)

April 22, 2010

I'd say Makoto. I'm partial to female characters and I prefer to rushdown my enemies over zoning with projectiles. I also suck at combos so having an effective command grab seems like something that I could build off of to help my damage dealing.

I'll get the PS3 version if I get anything. I prefer Dpad and buttons to arcade sticks and the 360's Dpad blows.

April 23, 2010

I'm not the greatest SF player so, of course, I'm looking forward to playing as Makoto with a wide array of moves and attacks. Plus, she's Seth's favorite! That's saying something, right? (PS3 version please!)

Default_picture

I totally want to play as Makoto. I love fast offensive fighters, and I enjoy taking advantage of the opponent's pauses in thought. Her spectrum of grab moves also sounds pretty wicked. PS3 version please.

April 24, 2010

At first I was going to try Makoto, but it seems like Seth thinks it might be an uphill battle getting in on fools, and I do not want to have to set everything up through grabs on a character that has a hard time closing space. I think I'll try Ibuki because of the ambiguos kunai vortex set-up, but Blanka is and will always be my bread and butter.

Also, PS3

I was looking forward to playing Guy, but after reading how he plays, and confirmation that he plays like El Fuerte, I'll most likely pass on him.

Now I'm most looking forward to playing as Makoto. I'd like to see how much of a rush down character she is. I skipped over the SFIII series, so she'll be my first experience with a character from there.

I'd be using Juri because I like to be creative with my fighting, I know it will be hard against that hard hitting characters but I'm up for the challenge! :) I'd love the PS3 copy, thanks for the contest.

Mostly looking forward to Ibuki myself... always found that I've been partial to playing as female characters in most fighting games. Smaller, faster, and of course, sexier... all great traits in this style of game. I really do love Cammy though, so Ibuki will surely be an adjustment to get used to.

International (Canada) entry just to let you know, but willing to pay slightly extra shipping cost. :)

Though I never played Street Fighter 3, I'm pretty excited about Ibuki. I really like fast characters, especially ones that can utilize combos.

Also, being able to counter an enemy's trick (the focus attack specifically) is enticing.

A 360 copy would suit me well. I really need something to satiate me until Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 comes out next year.

I'm looking forward to playing as Guy since I never really could figure him out while playing the Alpha games on the PS2. It might help that I now have an arcade stick and a better grasp of the game. Plus after seeing what Daigo did with Guy (see below) it makes me realize what depth he's got

I'm gonna go with Makoto. I loved playing with Guy and Ibuki in past SF games, but it looks like they're gonna have a really tough time against hard-hitters like Zangief (and I can only hate Zangief oh-so-much already).

Even if SK says Makoto will also have trouble taking Zangief on, she can pack quite a punch too, so it'll be all about taking advantage of her grabs and her quick dash. Also, if she plays a lot like in SF3, then I won't have a hard time adjusting.

I love my PS3, and would also love paying shipping through PP if it's needed. :D

T-Hawk for me, because I think Killian is dead-on about grapplers being fun to play. When I repeatedly smash my opponents to the ground, I drink their tears of frustration like sweet sweet nectar. Mmm.

PS3 plz! Thanks!

I'm most interested in trying out Hakan. Although that's now tempered a bit since I know he'll have issues with projectiles. That would take a bit of work to get around those 'keep-away' characters. Still, he may be the craziest new character I've seen and I can't wait to try him out!

360, if it hopefully comes to that...

I would go with T. Hawk, definitely! His jab pile driver looks awesome and I loved playing as him back in the day -- it's nice to see that he's back.

Xbox 360 please

'm excited to see Ibuki return!  Not only was she my favorite character to play in 3, but I like her style as it mixes here in 4.  Like Seth points out she's not a big damage type, but I like the in-and-out trixy and mobile characters anyway. (Current fave is still Cammy).  Oh, and I play on PS3

 Fox out.

Dudley fo sho, I like to get up close and personal so ranged attacks won't really bother me anyways.

360 por favor!

Im gonna say Guy, since the alpha games ive always tried to learn his moves and playstile but i think this is the best chance to actually get to know how to play this caracter.

Dudley looks kind of ridiculous. I have a feeling I'm going to have to be ready to fight him a lot. I want to try out Cody, but I'm not ruling out any of the new characters just yet.  I like the way Killian described the versatility of Cody's hurricane punch. Looking forward to experimenting with that.

Xbox 360 for the contest thing

Hakan is the only man for me. A hilarious fighting style + manliness = a deadly combo. I expect to laugh quite a bit playing as Hakan, whether I win or lose.

PS3 is my console of choice, please!

Juri, she has a unique fighting style and she is new to SSFIV so she needs some fans also has a sweet ultra move and that mechanical eye is awesome!

Who would I pick? Not even a question. im too go old school and pile drive 'till sundown. I'm about to go all T. Hawk on this, and there ain't no stopping. Weaknesses, there are none. If you disagree, just wait until you get Tomahawked. Hopefully by my PS3.

Juri - she seems like she can punish mistakes and make the shotos cry her fireball charge. Deadly at any range indeed.

360 please

I'm going with Guy, he's agile and versatile, and i used to annihilate with him in SFA2. And i rarely face tanks anyways so i'm not worried about them. If i do face them i can always jump in and out, grinding their health down slowly and driving them crazy. PS3 FTW

Already got my copy. :)
So far, Juri is my early favorite. She's both crazy and fun.
More soon...

T. Hawk, just because I like the moves and his play-style.

I think I will have fun using Jab Pile Driver over and over again, then having some 13 year old message me telling me "Real MAN DONT SPAM U R GAY." I only have a PS3 because I lost like 5 Xbox360s to RRoD and the warranty ran out :(.

I'd play as Juri because she's new and got a great set of moves.
