Quite a few of the new songs in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock remind me a little too much of my awkward junior-high years.

• Tom Clancy, do you read? This is H.A.W.X. 2. We're bringing in precious cargo. We have a new installment of a disappearing genre: the flight sim. Over.
• Dragon Quest 9's local multiplayer reminds me of the time we brought together a SNES, Super Multitap, three controllers, and three friends to play Secret of Mana. Now that I think about it, that was quite a hassle, and this seems much easier to get going.
• Check out all the neat things you can build in Lego Universe. For the truly authentic experience, however, you should be able to drop your creation on the floor and then sit dejectedly in a pile of Lego pieces after you fail to re-create it.
