I can't help but be a little disappointed at the lack of thunder and hurricanes in this Hydro Thunder: Hurricane video.

 Video Blips:

• These elaborate, water-filled Hydro Thunder levels exist solely for the purpose of racing on them. Where's this game supposed to be set, anyway? Do the canals of Venice have a bunch of huge jumps? Never been.

Continue after the break for an interview with Treyarch Studio Head Mark Lamia about Call of Duty: Black Ops, a Monkey Island 2 Special Edition developer diary, and some graveyard-gameplay footage of Rock of the Dead.

• Apparently, Call of Duty: Black Ops is inspired by all of the covert battles between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. during the Cold War. As long as we get a moon-landing level, I'll be happy. [GameTrailers

• This Toy Story 3 developer diary features a couple of random kids alongside the rest of the development team. Though it doesn't say their titles, I presume they are two of the lead programmers on the project. [GameTrailers]

• In Rock of the Dead you use the guitar peripheral to control the game and shoot zombies. Since it takes place in the first-person perspective, I'm having trouble envisioning this musical weapon -- is it a gun-shaped guitar, or a guitar-shaped gun? [GameVideos]
