At this point, we've stopped trying to make sense of the Metal Gear Solid series. They need to make a game that explains the whole story in a clear and concise manner. Game? We meant games -- there's no way one game could possibly clear up this mess.

Wow, I am pretty intrigued by Peace Walker. Looks fun with friends. Also, I wasn't taken by earlier coverage of Heavy Rain, but I am suitably impressed.

As a long time metal gear fan, the peace walker trailer is pretty standard. A tease of gameplay gimmicks with little to no actual story and some light humor. Trying to make any more sense of it then that is pointless. None of the other trailers like this for older metal gear games had much to say either. I personally don't have a gaggle of friends with PSPs nor do I have a PSP so i'm sort of waiting for them to roll some of this coop functionality into the next console metal gear or perhaps metal gear online. Either way coop metal gear seems like a fun concept.
