Performance Designed Products teams up with Disney to produce controllers and accessories inspired by the upcoming Tron: Evolution and Epic Mickey games. For Tron they plan to put out special light-up controllers for all three major consoles, and for Epic Mickey they have a creepy controller-charging dock and a paintbrush-shaped Nunchuk. If you're interested, you might want to pick these up before the hardcore Disney collectors get their grubby mitts on them.
A 52-year-old-Florida man brandishing a pipe attempted to steal an Xbox 360 from a Palm Coast home recently. The residents of the house forced the man out, and deputies later arrested him. It's a shame what some will resort to when they can't get their Modern Warfare 2 fix. [The Daytonna Beach News Journal]
When asked by the Wall Street Journal what instant change he would make to his company, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick responded that he would make Call of Duty an "online subscription service." Essentially he wants to create an online world for the series (think MMO) that would give players a "more compelling experience." Do players really want a COD MMO, or is this just another reason to be irritated with Kotick? [via MCV]
Though Nintendo chose not to reveal technical specs of their upcoming 3DS console, their processor-chip manufacturer did. Digital Media Professionals (a Japanese technology company) revealed that their PICA 200 chip powers Nintendo's cutting-edge handheld device. 1UP has a full list of the of the chip's statistics...you know, for those of you who are into that type of thing.
