Best Crackdown 2 developer quote to take out of context (at 1:42): "There's nothing more satisfying than seeing bodies piling over the car and exploding into particle fireworks."

Video Blips:

• It looks as if the developers of Crackdown 2 actually live and work in a community similar to the chaotic Pacific City. I guess they're just making a game based off of their real-life experiences. [GameTrailers]

Continue after the break for designer David Jaffe on Modnation Racers, the advanced technology of Singularity, and an uneventful preview of Pokémon Black and White.

• I'm a little disappointed that the cute, kart-driving version of Kratos doesn't violently kill his fellow racers. Perhaps he's a much more complex character than I initially gave him credit for. [GameTrailers]

• Come the apocalypse, you're definitely going to want one of these fancy life/death gloves. Just make sure you practice with it first before you accidently wave and turn your survivor friends into skeletons. [Destructoid

• On the plus side, here's the first-ever footage of the recently announced Pokémon Black and White. The downside: The video is primarily just the main character taking 10 steps in a 3D world and a group of grown men going gaga over it. [GameVideos]

Those Japanese people in the Pokemon commercial are so ridiculously excited over such a little tiny glimpse of the game haha. The whole 3dness could either be freaking awesome or terrible so I don't know how to feel about that.

Destructoid looks  really cool, but might also be gimmicky with the time control thing, hopefully that actually works and isn't just some stupid attempt at being original.

Crackdown 2 looks just like the first one, and will probably suck just as bad. I hated that game personally...

And ModNation looks really really fun. I would love to make my own tracks, and I am pretty sure I saw the GTA3 guy in there.

I really like these Video Blips, but I am getting sick of commercials in internet videos. Advertisement is ruining the internet.

@Anthony, thanks for the feedback. I totally feel you on the commercials-in-Internet-videos apathy, too -- especially when I end up seeing the same damn ad like 10 times in a week!
